As a first step after the announcement of Micro Village as a 3Com distributor, Micro Village Communications Pvt Ltd along with 3Com participated in Telecom & Broadband summit 2005 conducted by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). This International Summit & Expo was held on 19-20 October 2005 , at the Hotel Grand Hyatt --  Mumbai , covering the subject - "Current Issues, Business Opportunities & Future Challenges in Telecom & Broadband Sector" , also presenting a platform, for Indian companies to make a mark in the Indian as well as Overseas Markets. 

MVC's main objective for this summit is to create awareness about 3Com's new line of wireless products available for broadband solutions. Among which the star of the show was "3Com's Wireless Travel router".

There was a speech on "Wireless and broadband in India on International perspective" given by Mr. Matthew Walmsley, Regional product Marketing Director from 3Com. In that Mr. Walmsley spoke about the consumers expectations with broadband connections and 3Com's future plan in the wireless - broadband and VoIP solutions.
